The Art of AI Character Development

Much of the art of utilising tools like MidJourney to create visuals, is melding character-creation with the old-school art of image craft.

Clay Things

Not related to my work, but something I’m passionate about in my freetime. I started wheel throwing about 10 years ago in London, and now do a bit of hand-building as well (specifically making fruit sculptures. I don’t know why fruit, it’s just what I felt like making).

Testimonials

  • I've worked with Farrah on dozens of projects and am consistently impressed at her talent for imbuing beautiful design choices into everything she does, regardless of scope or deadline. Her ability to fuse function with elegant form in a high-velocity marketing industry is rare, yet she always manages to give things an indelible touch. Beyond this, she takes direction well, can work on any brief, and brings her signature style to the team culture. If you need a creative who gets the job done without sacrificing aesthetic craft, you can do no better than Farrah.

  • Along with her experience and confidence, Farrah brings a unique perspective and stylish aesthetic that elevates Sling creative and pushes the brand into a more premium space. Farrah has established herself as a leader within the team, and someone you want to have working on high profile projects because she approaches every project with an eye for beauty, a mind for function, and consistently delivers attention-grabbing creative. While much of her design strength comes from a fashion background, she has masterfully translated and applied those skills to sports marketing – most recently creating the winning concepts for Formula 1 and NBA Playoffs, both of which are huge acquisition events for new customers.

  • Having Farrah work on a recent project has been incredible. She is beyond creative, but more than that, she has the innate ability to know what to do to make shit look beautiful. She understands the current cultural moment in a way very few designers can master, and immediately finds creative solves to make things come together in the most engaging way possible.

About

By way of Beirut, raised in Colorado; I moved to London for university, after which I spent nearly a decade working in the agency world, serving fashion and beauty brands like House of Holland, British Vogue, Anthropologie EU, LVMH, and Kering. More recently, I’ve been living in Denver and working with an in-house agency serving DISH and Sling.

Outside of work, I love hosting dinner parties with my friends, fashion, ceramics, traveling to new cities and pretending I live there, collecting Noguchi lamps and soap shaped like fish, heist movies and/or stoner comedies, 80’s new wave, and cuddling my goblin kitty Leonard Bernstein.
